🎑LibreDEX Interface Overview

An overview of the pages and sections in LibreDEX.

In order to see the DEX, log into your accounts on LibreDEX as shown in this How-To, and select DEX from the menu bar.

We will review all of the sections of the User Interface (UI).

Orderbook

Lists the open orders for each selected token. Orders are entered by users of the DEX both on the Buy and Sell side. The number of tokens available at each particular Price is found in the left-most "Quantity" column. The middle column lists the price levels for tokens in Sats or Satoshi's. The right-most column indicates the total value of tokens (in USD) available at the various price levels.

The red and green values are clickable and will autofill the fields to Buy (clicking a red number) or Sell (clicking a green number).

Price Chart

Shows the price of a token over time. The total time displayed along the X axis will be whatever the selection in the top right is. 1 hour, 1 day, 3 days, or 1 month. The Hamburger button below the date selector allows you to download the chart in SVG, PNG, or CSV.

Sell

Used to sell or create an offer of liquid tokens you possess in your wallet. You can set the "Amount" of tokens to sell. This value should be equal to or less than the amount shown as "AVAIL:" In this example there are 200 VMPX tokens available to be sold. The "Price" box sets the price per token to be sold in Satoshi's or SATS.

Buy

Used to purchase or place a bid for tokens from the order book that if successful will be sent to your Libre account that is logged into LibreDEX. You can enter the Amount of tokens to buy and the Price in Sats you are willing to pay per token. Based on these entries a Total in USD is shown. If an account has insufficient funds to execute the transaction an error "Not Enough Balance" will be presented in the grey box at the bottom.
